How do I remove loc extensions myself?

Question by Nikkie: How do I remove loc extensions myself?
Hi, I got loc extensions (I think, palm rolled), and my stylist informed me that she needs to remove them, but I live 3.5hrs away from her and I do not want to go back to her (for good reasons). Does anyone know the appropriate steps to remove them myself? Thanks. PS they are NOTsisterlocks.

Yes. You can remove loc extensions. They are a slow and painful process to remove. I recommend using a tooth pick to de-tangle the loc. Make sure to grease each loc with a soft cream to soften the loc and untangle each loc. Take your time on this and be prepared to have some hair thinning afterwords.

After all the locs are removed make sure to go the stylist for a protein enhricher to add strenght back into your hair.
